Holi-Holiday

Hurray hurray, I’m going on a frickin’ holiday!
Lemme just say this: \o/ WOO! \o/
And it’s about time. Let’s hope I don’t sprain my ligaments on the first day, like I did last time when I went on a snowboard vacation.
Some info…
Location: Folgarida, Italy.
Company: just friends (about 17 of them).
Duration: 31/03/2006 (that’s today) until 09/04/2006.
You may expect pictures of the trip to find themselves on the internets when I get back.

The Gates are open!

And I’m not referring to the ridiculous “song” from the D-Devils, but rather to The Gates of Ahn’Qiraj.
Yesterday, Viluliina -the imba rogue of Massive- used the Scepter to ring the gates’ bell, an enormous gong that is. This task wasn’t easy, what with over a hundred people constantly /whispering him, and the enormous lag everyone was experiencing due to the massive amount of people standing at the gates, waiting for the event to start.
I was recently allowed in The Nordic Tribe, a high-end pve guild. I knew a few people from our former guild and have heard nothing but good things about them. At some time yesterday, we had a full raid group standing at the gates. And after Vilu managed to ring the gong, lots of giant mobs spawned and we all had fun taking those huge suckers down.
After that there was a sort of rush of every guild present at the gates to take down the first boss in the 20-man instance. We got to the first boss, Kurinnaxx, a centipede-like creature. And after 3 times we got him to about 18%. We heard from other guilds in General-chat they managed to kill it. Today, we will as well. I’m sure. I hope Multi-shot Rank 5 drops :)

By the way, this little trip into The Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj also was my first ever 20 man raid instance and I had lots of fun and look forward to doing all the other high-end content like Molten Core and BlackWing Lair as well.
