Recap 2008
Been neglecting my blog thanks to new hypes such as: MySpace and Facebook.
So here are some of the highlights in my life of 2008.
Discovered:

These are some of the skating highlights:
Got myself some Seba High’s (2008 model)!
Went to Singapore for the 2008 WSSA World Slalom Championship, under the banner of . Got to know lots of new people, became more close with a certain few skaters. Had an awesome time. Got really sick on the flight home though, but that’s an entire story at itself.
ConeCrazy has been developing at a steady pace. We gave 2 series of 10 times 2hour freestyle slalom lessons to a dozen students of Lommel Inline.We went to Battle Warsaw in Poland where we made lots of new friends. Also went to BattleUK 3. The amount of regular slalomskaters is growing slightly and the general level of everybody is rising every week. It’s almost weekly that we go to sportshall “Demerstrand” in Diepenbeek. We also got team t-shirts and made lots of publicity on the RollerParade’s in Hasselt and Antwerp, also worth mentioning are the numerous demonstrations we did.
We also started the organisation of Battle Belgium 2009.
Had a memorable evening at Jill’s RollerDisco in the St-Niklaas NewPact skatepark, which burned down a few months ago 
Went to ’s Slalom retreat pilot in London, met lots of new awesome people. Learned a bunch of technical tricks (Yes! From Naomi!)!
Competed at the IFSA competition in Brussels (first real international freestyle slalom competition in Belgium)
Went to the IFSA competition in Milano, Italy as a judge… and screwed lots of stuff up :s On the plus-side, I met Ciro and Rosella, possibly the nicest people I’ve met in my entire life.
Work:
Now working one year in Cegeka’s Software Factory, and it’s still friggin’ awesome.
Relationships:
Experienced some eye-opening events in relation to the fascinating subject that is: women.
Bad news:
My grandmother on my father’s side passed away. My dad doesn’t have any parents left anymore now .
That’s about it for 2008. As you can see nothing ground-breaking stuff there.
Current situation:
Still single, still working happily at Cegeka, still skating, sort of stopped Kendo :s, don’t game as much as I used to (which I really don’t mind actually), not going on a snowboarding holiday this year (want to spend more time going to Freestyle Slalom competitions).
And last but not least, leaving for Moscow tomorrow ! *psyched*
